As a topic for my senior thesis project and a continuation of my role as an undergraduate researcher with the Space Phsyics Group, I have began developing a Electrostatic Analyzer using 3D printed metal. The main goals of this project are to determine feasibility and explore the benefits of using 3D printed metals as opposed to conventional CNC manufacturing. See the preliminary design review below:
